How it works

Upload. Verify. Download. Done.

You bring the CSV. VXSentry helps you understand each email address, then returns your original data with useful result fields added.

The workflow

From an uncertain list to an informed decision.

Nothing is removed from an external tool for you. You stay in control of what to filter, export and send.
  1. STEP 01

    Create your account

Sign up and confirm your email address. An active, verified account can use list verification and the free-check offer.

  2. STEP 02

    Upload a CSV

Choose a CSV within the current 5 MB upload limit. VXSentry keeps the original headers and rows for the result export.

  3. STEP 03

    Select the email column

Confirm which column contains the addresses you want checked.

  4. STEP 04

    Preview the records

Review the detected headers, a 25-row preview and the number of processable email addresses before a job is created.

  5. STEP 05

    Confirm the credit requirement

VXSentry shows the credit cost. One paid credit is required for each processable email.

  6. STEP 06

    Start verification

The job checks addresses with bounded processing and shows live progress. No message content is sent to recipients.

  7. STEP 07

    Review the results

See category totals and row-level reasons. Providers that hide or block mailbox checks can lead to Unknown rather than a guessed positive result.

  8. STEP 08

    Choose how to filter

Use the category, reason and recommended action to decide which records fit your sending policy.

  9. STEP 09

    Download the enriched CSV

Get your original rows and columns with seven VXSentry result fields appended.

  10. STEP 10

    Import it yourself

Move the records you choose into your sending platform. VXSentry does not automatically remove, sync or update contacts in outside systems.

What happens during a check

Multiple signals. A bounded mailbox probe.

VXSentry first checks structure, patterns, suppression information, the domain and its mail routing. It also checks for disposable providers.

When possible, it opens a technical SMTP conversation with the receiving server, asks about the recipient and stops before the DATA stage. It may ask about a random recipient once per domain to identify catch-all behavior.

Some providers do not reveal mailbox status. When evidence is incomplete, the result stays Unknown or Risky—not Deliverable.

Read the result

Six categories, each with a next step.

Categories summarize the available evidence at the time of the check. They do not promise future delivery.
Deliverable

Looks good

The receiving server accepted the mailbox and the domain did not behave like a catch-all. It is a reasonable candidate for sending, not a delivery guarantee.

Recommended: Send

Undeliverable

Leave it out

The address has invalid syntax, its domain cannot receive mail, or the receiving server rejected the mailbox.

Recommended: Suppress

High risk

Think twice

The address matched an applicable VXSentry or account suppression entry, or uses a known disposable provider.

Recommended: Do not send

Risky

Use caution

The address has a role-based label or another suspicious pattern that deserves review, even when other checks look healthy.

Recommended: Send with caution

Catch-all

Mailbox uncertain

The domain appears to accept arbitrary recipients, so its response cannot confirm that this individual mailbox exists.

Recommended: Verify manually

Unknown

We won’t guess

The domain can receive mail, but the provider did not give enough information to confirm or reject this mailbox.

Recommended: Recheck later

Do not find the bad emails after you send.

Find clear problems—and honest uncertainty—before your next campaign.
